Correlation is not causation. Without knowing more about each of your anecdotes, it is impossible to say if Gardasil was the cause, a contributing factor, or had nothing at all to do with the incidents related.
Anecdotal at best, BS at worst.
Here we go. Let’s start the conspiracy theories about vaccines. When the Gardasil vaccine is given the first time you wait in the doctor’s office for 15 minutes for any side effects such as dizziness. This procedure is repeated with each following vaccine. Why would parents continue the vaccine treatment for their daughter if their arm went numb after the first shot? Is it possible that their child became ill because of another cause or it is 100% from the vaccine? The case with the 21 year old brings questions of why were their not any side effects during 6 month period of shots? Again, did an autopsy show that Gardasil killed this woman or was it another cause? These scare tactics are irresponsible. Why isn’t the focus on the lives that will be saved rather then on some doubt sayers with no proof?
Anecdotal evidence. Those same things happen to kids entirely randomly, and studies have found that they aren’t happening with any greater frequency to kids who get Gardasil than those who don’t.
There have been 35 million people vaccinated with Gardasil. To believe the hype, we’d have thousands of dead kids, and hundreds of thousands of kids with life-threatening illness.
But the studies of the reactions find no reason to question the vaccine as safe and effective. The CDC still recommends this vaccine.
Interestingly, there are really no reports of bad reactions to the other HPV vaccine. Only the one that people know the name of.
