I generally hate the Federal Government and it’s unrelenting gaggle of useless laws, but since this is a Second Amendment issue, it seems to me that the Congress should pass a law that guns and the carrying of same is a Federal issue and the states can have no jurisdiction (just as now most states have “preempted” local governments from passing gun control laws). But then we have so many “limp dick” Republicans in Congress, it will never happen.
I’d rather the federal govt stayed the heck out of it, other than the abolish the ATF and most other federal gun laws.
Its a Constitutionally protected right. Any laws necessary are a state issue except where states infringe on the right.
You would prefer the Feds who have continued to pay our annual dues to the United Nations to have the authority over whether or not you or I can carry a firearm? These are the same feds that love Agenda 21.
