I did a little research into this "Ed Rollins" character. Talk about being in the right place at the right time. He "earned his bones" in national politics so to speak by running the 1984 re-election campaign for Reagan. Hell, Reagan could have had hired any fool to run that campaign and he would have still won.

Since 1984, Rollins record has been less than stellar. He ran Kemp's campaign in 1988 (winning zero primaries), then jumped to Ross Perot in 1992 and we all know what a train wreck that was. Then he ran Huckabee's road-to-nowhere campaign four years ago and now poor Michelle Bachmann saddled herself with him. Then there are a bunch of lesser campaigns that he worked on with not a whole lot of success.

Palin is wise to stay away from these so-called "pros".

My favorite is his campaign for Arianna’s gay husband, Michael Huffington. That’s the one where Arianna offered to pay for Rollins’ hookers if he felt the need. Loser!

With a record like that ... he’s the Republican Bob Shrum. So if Rollins Republican and Shrum Democrat run against eachother who wins? The third party guy?

Bob has an amazing record of losing races, but Bob doesnt trash talk the people who paid his bills. I dont care what Rollins thinks, I cant believe any candidate would hire him after seeing what he does to prior candidates.
