Maybe, but there was a recent precedent set by a certain half-term senator.

Her run was absolutely ill fated and self serving.

She allowed herself to be used by the anti Palin MSM, she has done more harm than good. The MSM/Rep pushed her in their polling, and while she had some real support the majority was manufactured by the MSM/Rep est only to somehow keep Palin down,that was all she meant to them.

The proof is in the pudding! Her support was not real, that was why she was unable to raise virtually any money.

How much money a candidate raises is the only area that the MSM/REP est has no control over. They can manufacture polls, but that`s where it ends.

Real support= real money...case closed

If that two term congressman was a war hero, I don't think it would pose much of a problem.
