I smacked him across the wrist with the knife when he couldnt get away from the cash register, she said. The knife was dull, so it probably didnt hurt him much. Someone send that poor woman a good whetstone.
The suspect got away empty-handed.
I would have preferred that he got away one-handed.

I have a *thing* about my kitchen knives, been known to take them with me on vacations & visits. It isn’t much fun using inferior tools. Mr. Robber best not roll the dice on it being me, LOL.
