That's why I say: Throw the IRS Code out the window and start over with a 17% flat tax.
BTTT!
When my wife was receiving unemployment checks, we had to claim that as "income" and pay taxes on it! Do welfare queens have to claim their checks as "income?" While in the Marine Corps, I had to claim my non-cash benefits: housing allowance, etc... to see if I qualified for Earned Income Credit! Do all these welfare queens have to claim their non-cash benefits: Section 8 housing allowance, reduced lunch savings, reduced utility savings, etc...?!?!?!?
Plain and simple - repeal the 16th Amendment and incorporate a national sales tax of 17% on everything but grocery staples (i.e., milk, meat, bread, rice and beans)! There are already national sales taxes on gas, cigarettes and alcohol (probably more items), so why not just get rid of income tax returns across the board?!?!
I really don't care where you got your cash: employment, found it, inheritance, etc...! I just want you to get TAXED on it! PERIOD!
THAT, is a "fair share" for everyone! Anything else is CLASS WARFARE!

While we’re at it, I’d like us to return to one of the basic tenants of the Constitution, with one minor change. The Founding Fathers required all voters to be property owners. I’d change this to: If you don’t pay federal income taxes, you don’t get to vote in federal elections. Same for state and local elections, too. This might make it a little more difficult to justify some of the crap being passed in Washington.
