President Barack Obama may well be remembered for the beginning of the end of the Democratic Party's iron grip on the Black vote.
It’s a gorgeous mosaic of declining support.
I wouldn't bet on this. They will come out in the same numbers for obama. The rallying cry will be "we can't let them take down one of ours".

I doubt it. Because slavery was ended by a strong federal govt and then civil rights were pushed through by a strong federal govt anything that leads to states rights will be fought by them. Also, the Rat party has very effectively moved them back onto the plantation. The majority of the Black middle class works for govt and a large segment of the Black community is dependent on govt for aid, since the family unit has been destroyed.
Where the Pubs have an opportunity to gain is among Hispanics.

“President Barack Obama may well be remembered for the beginning of the end of the Democratic Party’s iron grip on the Black vote.”
Let’s not go overboard. The Dem party is the black vote. A decline to 84% support still leaves it overwhelmingly Dem. They will always be the core of the Dem party which will always pander to this core.
He’s still a grave threat for reelection. We must take nothing for granting.
