It’s time to originate a new joke: “What do you call 10,000 statists at the bottom of the sea?

What prompts me to quip about this watery solution is the latest bit of lunacy from the Tolerance and Diversity Nazis: Wisconsin education officials have ordered Berlin High School near Milwaukee to change its nickname from the “Indians.” The problem, found the Department of Public Instruction (DPI), is that the name is race-based.
The first reaction should be, “So what?” But more on that in a moment.
The Chicago Tribune reports that this move was instigated by a complaint from a Berlin HS alumnus.
That’s right, one complaint.
Talk about the squeaky (and one-screw-loose) wheel getting the grease.

Fine! Change the team nickname to “Indiginous Native Domestic Inhabitants And Natural Scientists”, which is a little bit long for most cheers so just adopt the acronym “INDIANS”.
“Vikings” is another ‘race-based’ nickname that needs to be changed...

I agree with the person who complained. “Indians” refers to people from that country next to Pakistan.
This high school should make things right and call themselves the “Injuns”.

No, I think most Norwegions/Swedes are proud of their heritage. The American Indians must be ashamed of theirs - so if no one says their names; perhaps they will forget their shame (whatever it was).

It’s a mistake to think just because a Republican may occupy the WH and a few more in Congress next time around that all will be okay.

And members of the male bovine species were livid to find out that they were belittled as being lazy by an Indian being named Sitting Bull.

I once suggested the name “Hampton Honkies” for a minor-league hockey franchise in southeastern Virginia. They went with “Tidewater Sharks” instead.
It turns out they were ahead of their time...
One person complained.
The name and address of that person and his/her family members should be published.
So, what if hundreds of people complain that they are offended that the name is being removed and they consider that racist. What then?
