polls about popularity are for losers,TV pundits, and Freeeprs who are killing time before a meal.

Exactly. Trouble is some are addicted to the propaganda polls. They rely on them to see how they should think and that's the reason they were created - to sway, to convince. And, unfortunately, they are successful at times. We read many on FR mimicking them!

All my life I have listened to comments from women and from men also to the effect that men judge women solely on their looks. After 67 years I am more certain than ever of the conclusion I reached about thirty years back. Women judge men by their looks far more than the opposite is true.
