Israel PM departs for UN, says does not expect 'warm welcome'
Benjamin Netanyahu speaks at Likud conference, says has tried to approach Palestinian President Abbas several times for negotiations, to no avail. By Barak Ravid
"Tonight I am going to New York to speak at the General Assembly, meet with (U.S. President Barack) Obama and with other leaders," Netanyahu said. "I know the reception I received here is much warmer than the one I will receive at the UN, and exactly because of that I think we should go there and present our truth of a people attacked over and over by those opposed to their very existence. That is the most basic truth."

I am actually worried about his presnce here. The jihadis massing outside the UN for this would not think twice about an attack on him. When they are in a mass, they are an unthinking swarm. This is a very courageous move, but it will fall on deaf ears and honestly, I think he would be better off making his case to Americans via the media rather than putting his person at risk.
Poland is boycotting this entirely as shameful.
I hope someone is watching his six.
May the Lord put a shield of protection around Mr. Netanyahu for the duration of the unreasonable hostility he will face here. I ask it in Jesus’s name.
Until Obama and his traitor democrats are taken from power, Netanyahu needs to give up on the U.S. .......... I certainly have.
Netanyahu is protected by Shin Bet, Protective Security Dept.
Shin Bet is Israel’s equivalent of the FBI and the Secret Service.

I agree with you, for God’s protection.
I think this will be a test for NYPD. I have never seen a peaceful gathering of jihadis. And this vote, when the US votes no, is going to spark riots all over the world. obama deserves ALL the credit for the impossible situation he has put us AND Israel in.
I believe there will be Jewish/pro-Israel demonstrators there as well. It won’t be pretty.
Amen!!
I think Mr. Netanyahu knows that the vast majority of the American people support Israel. We have a usurper in the office of president, who not only gave him the cold shoulder but showed him the bottom of his shoes. My understanding is that in eastern culture that means he is the lowest of the low. And, If Obama votes ‘yes’ for this UN/Palestinian state sham... understand that will be the nail in the coffin for the US. Another bonus: today Obama has incurred more judgement on the US, this very day the 20th of Sept. 2011, because he has allowed the military to openly allow the sodomites into it. I fear for our beloved country. May God have mercy on His people.
Look for another amazing speech from Netanyahu.
He schooled 0bama last time he was here.
Awesome speaker - the right man at the right time in history.
Pray for Israel.
Didn’t know OJ smoked.
If Israel wanted respect, it should have modeled it’s actions after the PLO, Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Palestinians on the West Bank and Gaza.
That’s certainly won over Europe and the U. N., and our President, despite what he says in public.
I’d go for less respect, and Israel’s methodical approach.
Bibi will walk tall as always.
He’s “bracing” for nothing, as Barack has already proved to be the adolescent in the room.
How did that POS end up as our President?! GAG!
