WASHINGTON (AP) -- Republican leaders of the House and Senate are urging Federal Reserve policymakers against taking further steps to lower interest rates.

On the eve of the Fed's two-day policy meeting, the leaders sent a letter warning that the Fed's policies could harm an already-weak U.S. economy.

Why not allow all of our wonderful “trading partners” to lower their currencies to one-twelfth of ours. The globalist trade/debt regime can go on forever and ever then.

You made your bed. You’ll lay in it. The dollar must fall and will fall. So will the anti-American global house of cards.

Lower rates keep the currency lower in the face of the currency wars in process from other nations, BTW. “Stimulus,” eh? We should be resisting the tax increases and regulations instead. Those are the improper and impractical stimuli.

If you locked up everyone in Washington DC you’d only be locking up a tiny sliver of innocents. Some institutions, like the Fed, you can just throw away the key.
