Why was she at his house in the first place? Am I reading that right? She went to his place then needed to go to her place for clothes?

She shouldn’t have went to his place.

Doesn’t make what he did right but what she did doesn’t seem to smart.

Most likely, she mistakenly thought that the two of them could have a talk about their relationship.

I agree it should have been on neutral ground and not at the home they once shared and he still lived in. But people always think that civilized behavior is the norm, until it’s proven otherwise.

The story says they did talk at first, but things took a bad turn when she told him she did not want to reconcile with him. He tried to force her to do so.

Sheesh. When you have to hold someone against their will in order to have a “relationship” with them, it’s over.
