Page 38 of the July/August AARP bulletin contained an article titled "Pride Is Ageless" which announced AARP's plans for "advocacy efforts in the LGBT arena."
The article stated "AARP has created a new online home for the older lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community." The page links to news stories on such hot topics as same-sex marriage, gay adoption and the repeal of the military's 'don't ask, don't tell' policy, as well as articles on personal finance, travel and other issues of interest. In addition, the site clarifies AARP's positions and advocacy efforts in the LGBT arena. Check out the page at aarp.org/pride.

Please forward this article to anyone that you k now who may be an AARP member including friends whose parents or grandparents may be members and encourage them to consider cancelling their membership, otherwise their money may be used to promote the homosexual political agenda.

We have prepared an email for you to send to AARP officials to express concern regarding AARP's "advocacy efforts in the LGBT arena."

I agree, I think the hard-core promotion and celebration of homosexuality is confusing young people more.
Especially school age kids, it is not like they can hop out to some bar and meet up with bunches of homosexuals. They are at school with mostly straight kids, making them the oddball.
Sometimes kids need strong parents giving them direction. This nilly-willy be whatever you want leave the kids alone and confused.
Do you drop somebody in the wilderness without a compass and map? It’s overwhelming. Let kids decide these sexual things when they are older.
Until then, leave parents to be the guide for their children not the state/school/feds whatever.

We got three envelopes from them in the mail last week, one for me, one for my wife (even though wife and I both asked to be removed from their mailing list) and one for our daughter. She #1) does not live with us, #2) is not 30 years old yet.
Same here, even though we have asked to be removed from their mailing list. I just take the pre paid envelope, cram all their literature back into it and make them pay more postage.
Plus, they want to ban guns. Actually, I have a letter from them saying that that is an outright lie. They don’t want to ban all guns, just all handguns, semi-automatics, anything that can hold a magazine with more than 10 cartridges, “sniper rifles” (the kind with a scope on them), 50-caliber or larger, etc. You get the idea.
I don’t understand. Supposedly back when everyone was in the closet it was just horrible because they couldn’t be who they really were due to society shunning them. So if it’s so accepted today and everyone feels free to be who they are, why are they still conflicted and committing suicide? Sure there’s still some bullying but kids still pick on people who wear glasses for crying out loud. We need more acceptance of people who wear glasses!!!
The big point is that the per capita suicide rate for homosexuals is not significantly different in Germany or the Netherlands, ironic considering that there was early advancements in the homosexual rights agenda compared to the United States, yet there are still issues. IMHO, there’s deeper issues in these people than just homosexuality. I mean, since when does some rediculous comment on the web inspire you to end your life?!!! I have seen plenty of trolls, but then again, perhaps I got the point that what is on your computer screen isn’t all that real anyways. If that wasn’t enough,genuine physical bullying didn’t drive me into that direction either. Sometimes it seems like society is conditioning people to have very thin skin.

Problem with that logic is that a pump-action shotgun doesn’t have either that large magazine size, and is not a handgun, but is perhaps as much, if not more, lethal, for the punch that it packs.

I went on a field trip with my youngest son and we were walking when a boy tripped.
He got up and I said come on lad get up walk it off you’ll be alright. My youngest boy said come on it’s only a scratch.
The boy said he needed a band aid to which my youngest said” no you don’t “
A mother< not his>came over, knelt down and started to hug the boy, promised him an ice bad, a band aid etc.
I said he’ll be alright no worries , after all he’s got another leg.
The boy walked off with my youngest to join the others but you should have seen this mother, if looks could kill .
Many mothers are raising a bunch of fairies, many young college age men are now little pansies .
