If he is successfully impeached, does he also lose all benefits afforded to ex-presidents? Or would he continue to receive SS protection for 10 years, as well as the pension, etc.?

I'm guessing that if he were impeached and removed, congress (dims & rinos) would pass a special law letting him keep all his benefits - he is a member of an "entitled" group.

With that said, don't hold your breath for impeachment and removal. He could murder someone on national tv and his core constituents and the traitors in congress wouldn't remove him. After all, OJ was not guilty of murder, was he?

Clinton was impeached but not convicted and is enjoying his pension and protection. If he had been convicted by the Senate he would have lost his benefits. The Pubs led by Trent Lott didn’t have the balls to convict.

IIRC, SS protection used to be for life. I seem to remember the newly minted 2007 congress specifically reducing coverage to 10 years for GWB. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

If he is impeached (and then successfully convicted), he will enjoy the protection of the guards at Leavenworth, hopefully for the remainder of his life.

As far as any pension is concerned, I'm sure he can work out some "arrangements" to earn cigarettes.

It is but a dream I have...

Law was changed in 1997...Clinton and all after him get only ten years protection.

Bubba is on his own now.
