My answer is quite simple and I have stated it several times.

I opposed the repeal of DADT.

Therefore, I oppose gays serving openly.

And I understand that if they serve in secret, there is nothing that can be done as their orientation is not known to others in the military.

But you are OK with them serving secretly. That is, you were OK with DADT.
