Yeah and those kind of Republican debates will get a lot less viewers. Unfortunately Republicans must hold some of their debates on leftist news outlets such as MSNBC...... To get exposure to the great independent middle

And another thing is this: Perry is being sort of gang tackled by several folks. Which is fine, but it is not how a debate one on one against a struggling President trying to defend his awful record will be. This is true for any of them in fact: a free for all with 8-9 candidates who are not incumbents is a totally different animal than one on one with teleprompter boy.

I think all 8 of them, or is it 9, will look better one on one than they do - especially when you are the front runner being gunned for. Then again, Perry probably solved that particular problem last night, and we’ll see how Mitt handles it now.

The next Prez. will be a woman but it won’t be Sarah..
Add to that that Sarah supports Bachmann..

Palin, Christie, etc. I want them all in. Now. Doing the work, facing the heat, building the organization, honing the message... Competition is a good thing - and we must beat Obama.

Agree with you totally.

I have a sneaking suspicion that this woman carries too much personal baggage to successfully run for the presidency ... and she knows it. Meantime, she’s been milking her notoriety for all it’s worth.

The debates are futile exercises. I don’t recall what any candidate has said, with the exception of Herman Cain’s “9 - 9 - 9” plan.

I was wondering if maybe she might wait until after Gingrich reveals his new contract with America.

I don’t know, but, I have read that some states have early deadlines for getting on the ballot.

Your concern is duly noted. Every Republican the media destroys should be dismissed. Saves lily liver moderates from having to defend someone so marginalized.

Pray for America

Sarah’s patience isn’t what counts, its the filing dealines to make Primaries. Miss the filing, no Primary, no Primary no nomination.

I sure hope she gets in. Like her and Perry, but with the constant Perry smashing and smearing here and on MSM, its looking more and more like the last one standing to even get to Primaries will be Mutt. No need mentioning the bottom feeders, they will not make it unless Mutt and Perry and Palin kick the buckets.

I still think much of the Perry Derangement is from paulnutz (undercover here on FR and hiding under Palin and Bachmann’s skirts), it may be too hard to not look at closet (never hear of any Romney boosters on FR) Mutt fans for the incessant attacks on Perry.

If and when Palin gets in, and they have killed off Perry’s chance at preventing Mutt’s annointment, next they’ll aim at Palin.

Well, it will have to remain a suspicion since it cannot be backed up by much in the way of facts.

How is any average voter supposed to see and hear the candidates if they don’t debate?

Like all good moose hunters, Sarah is patient and cunning.

Only this time it ain't a moose she's going after.

They need to pick which venues much more carefully. Now it is simply the left feeding on “R” candidates. If enough refuse to participate in certain venues, better described as ambushes, the debates would improve.

Perry would have been better off had he followed Palin’s example and skipped the debates. I never thought the Teleprompter of the United States could beat any Republican in a debate, but then Rick Perry isn't any Republican.

You Texans can keep him to create a utopia for illegals and take really great vacations via his “pay to play” schemes.
