This may be the best speech I’ve ever read on the Israel/Palestine situation.

Thank you for posting the speech.

This is a real man.
I suppose he realizes, better than any of us, that the only peace in the Middle East will be when a couple of hostile states near Israel lie smoking and quiet. And the others are peacefully scared s@#$less.

“Better a bad press than a good eulogy, and better still would be a fair press whose sense of history extends beyond breakfast, and which recognizes Israel’s legitimate security concerns.
And there are many other vital security issues that also must be addressed. Take the issue of airspace. Again, Israel’s small dimensions create huge security problems. America can be crossed by jet airplane in six hours. To fly across Israel, it takes three minutes. So is Israel’s tiny airspace to be chopped in half and given to a Palestinian state not at peace with Israel?”
Amazing.
Thank you so much for posting this.

Netanyahu is a wonderful leader for Israel - for this particular time especially. I admire him a great deal and every time I read his speech or hear him, I am reminded of how totally impotent and weak President Obama is. He is a man devoid of the decency, morality and scruples to lead our country in the way Netanyahu does his. There is no love for country in Obama, no deep appreciation for our history, the millions of sacrificed lives and fortunes all to see America take her place on the world stage, strong, proud, decent, generous, welcoming and good. All these things Obama grew up to hate and despise. I pray one day - hopefully soon - that God blesses us again with a leader of the caliber of Benjamin Netanyahu.

The UN needs to DIE. It's a large part of what is wrong in the world today.
Did you notice all the empty seats while BiBi was speaking?
Shameful.
America out of the UN.
the UN out of America.

What a great speech. Something I like about it is how real it is. It’s like it’s not even trying to be a great speech, unlike Obama’s speeches, which are always trying so hard.

Wow-— BiBi’s speech wasn’t just a home run but a grand slam. What an expose and historical review to present day relevance.

Thanks for posting the transcript. That was a great speech. Personally, I think Israel would do better by herself if she drove all the “palestinians” from Gaza and the West Bank to Jordan, which is the true “palestinian” state.

What I find potentially hilarious is that if Palestine is recognized as a state, it will have all the responsibilites of one (such as living at peace with it’s neighbors). If Hamas and the Palestinian Authority cannot prevent attacks against Israel, then Israel is fully justified in taking the offensive in response to such attacks.
Having attacks launched again you from the territory of another state is a legitimate Casus Belli if the other state does nothing to prevent it.
