Memo to Left: You're right; Obama has to go
WorldTribune/com ^ | Friday, September 23, 2011 | Jeffrey T. Kuhner

President Obama is facing an internal revolt. Liberals are openly considering a primary challenge for the Democratic presidential nomination. Ralph Nader, a big-government maverick and former Green Party candidate, recently called for a group of left-leaning Democrats to run. If a prominent opponent emerges, Mr. Obama’s re-election efforts would be fatally crippled.

It is not just conservatives who are angry with Mr. Obama. Radicals are also seething. They view him as shallow and inept. After once deifying him as the liberal messiah, they feel betrayed — by both his incompetence and his deviations from socialist priorities.

I like the, "His model is not George McGovern or even Jimmy Carter but President Franklin D. Roosevelt and Italian fascist leader Benito Mussolini." and "Obama is heading toward a one-term presidency. He has been more than a failure. He has been a disaster." comments

They had it all, the house, the senate and the presidency and they couldnt do it. When the left knows the game is over watch for desparation to set in and the “generated crisis” to appear. They will not go quietly, they know this is it for them for a long while.

Remember the seas were going to part? We are the ones we have been waiting for. He was going to fundamentally change this country. Electricity costs will necessarily sky rocket. He mocked the Bible. Who does these things?? Who thinks like this??

We saw who he was early on. His mask has slipped off for most independents. The further he falls in the polls, the more desparate they will become. I think this is going to be ugly folks. As for me, I am going to work for the candidate who will judge people by the content of their character and not the color of their skin. Go CAIN!!

"Obama is facing an internal revolt."

Why not? Those of us who are patriotic have known he was revolting since his "spread the wealth around" comment, if not long before then.

Don’t they get it? Silly question. It’s not the person, it’s the ideology, the beliefs, the policies. Another leftist won’t make things better. If you don’t like the bus route, you need to get on a new bus not get another driver.

“Electricity costs will necessarily sky rocket. He mocked the Bible. Who does these things?? Who thinks like this??”

The answer you’re probably looking for is (cue Church Lady) “Satan?” But I’m thinking it’s every liberal I know and 90% of the children who have been through the liberal indoctrination machine we call public school. I’ve talked to many kids in uniform and they don’t think like that; hence the liberal need to end the volunteer service and reinstitute the draft. Hence the liberal need to infiltrate the military with gays, who are in reality no different than communists of old.

Interesting article from the NYT about Obama losing small donors.

I disagree with you. "They" did a lot of damage in 2 years. Socialized medicine, doubled Fed spending and ended DADT for crying out load! "They" wanted a fully Communist state by now, they aren't questioning their beliefs as wrong, their problem with Obama is he didn't do it fast enough!

The article is pretty much a spot-assessment of the situation the Dems find themselves in.

The biggest problem for them is that both liberalism itself, and its most powerful weapon-the main stream media, have been fully discredited.

Hillary could win the primary, but then how does she garner the base in the general election? Does she embrace Keynesianism? Discredited.

How about defending Obamacare? Kryptonite.

Kinder-gentler “let’s talk” foreign policy? Hasn’t worked.

The general election is her problem, as it would be for any Democrat associated with the Obama administration.

The only “saviors” for the party on the horizon are Evan Bayh or Mark Warner. Neither could win the primary.

The stars have aligned for just about any of the Republican contenders. Nothing has changed since the 2010 elections except liberalism has been further exposed as not only bankrupt, but downright dangerous.

We win.

interesting article from the NYT about Obama losing small donors.

That's because small donors don't have any extra money to contribute to political campaigns.

Well, they’ve “been lucky” before right before elections. Wellstone comes to mind.

IMHO, because he has shown the world the fragility of the socialist illusion....his own will devour him in spite.

"Obama is heading toward a one-term presidency. He has been more than a failure. He has been a disaster."

Worse than a crime, it was a blunder.

The left has always known they might be able to achieve power without violence, but they couldn't keep it without violence..

The lefts preferred method is to orchestrate violence as a way of achieving power, but that didn't work out in the 2008 election, they obtained power through peaceful means.

You are exactly right, this is going to get nasty. Now there going to have to orchestrate violence to try and keep their power.

It is sad to say but you are probably right. Violence is the next step for them. They are fomenting it as we speak. Fortunately (or unfortunately} we are more well prepared. At least we are in my family.

“Remember the seas were going to part?....Who thinks like this??”

I was talking to a young man, a twenty-something, who asked me, a Christian, why his generation should believe in Jesus. I told him that my Messiah has never failed me, then him why my generation should believe in the failed messiah his generation delivered to us.

I'm expecting more than just civil unrest.

I'm expecting some kind of incident, something similar to the OKC bombing in 1995, that they will use to try to make it appear as if right wing extremist, the black militants, or the mexican militants have teamed with the terrorist in an act of war against the US.

What I'm starting to see and hear is almost an exact repeat of the Clinton's strategy leading up to the OKC bombing.

Leading up to the OKC bombing, the Clinton's orchestrated news stories to make it appear as if the right wing extremist had teamed up with terrorist and/or a foreign govt (Iraq) to wage war against the US.

I think three events has also made life VERY difficult for the Democrats:

1. On September 3, 2011, former Governor Sarah Palin in a speech warned against the "crony capitalism" that has essentially only a few favored companies working with the government.

2. They Solyndra solar panel company--one highly touted by President Obama himself, complete with a personal visit to the company--collapsed almost at the same time, costing 1,100 employees their jobs and wondering if we would get back that US$535 million loan guarantee from the Federal government.

3. A USAF general was forced to change his testimony in front of Congress over LightSquared, a company developing wireless high-speed Internet using frequencies that could essentially make GPS receivers useless in the USA. And Obama has not publicly said he sold his investment in that company, done back when he was a politician from Illinois.

In short, Palin's warnings about "crony capitalism" has become reality, and has now become a major political issue for the 2012 elections. Ouch!
