A Marlborough man, who was in the country illegally and had been previously deported, was arrested Saturday morning in Boxborough on his sixth drunken driving charge, police said.

Boxborough police said that Eduardo Alementa Torres, 48, originally from Mexico, was driving a vehicle with an expired inspection sticker when an officer stopped him at about 10:45 a.m.

The officer saw an open beer bottle on the passenger seat and detected a strong odor of alcohol, police said. Torres failed a field sobriety test and submitted to a breath test, which showed that his blood alcohol level was .09 percent, according to police. The legal limit in Massachusetts is .08 percent.

Wanna bet he’s let out and ICE won’t be anywhere around to pick him up Monday morning? He’ll have a new license and driving around drunk by noon.

Just imagine, the person Mr Torres will one day run over & kill while driving drunk is walking around today, oblivious to their future.

The tragic chain of events are already in motion, complete with sympathetic judge, understanding clergy and immigration attorney.

If what you are going to be doing is getting drunk - wouldn’t it be cheaper to stay in Mexico?

We honestly need LABOR CAMPS for this —call them something else, but make them exhausting, unpleasant, famous, and PROFITABLE.

They make a HUGE deal about how hard-working they are —let them live up to it.

Let chem Caesar Chavez it for 5 years or so picking lettuce in San Joaquin for little larks like this —they’ll sober up in nothing flat.

There's more than one. Unbelievable. There's one here who has them living and camping on his land who's been here for years.

It was heartless to pull this nice man over. We should make it up to him by providing a free or reduced education for his children to the Texas college of their choice.

Do I really need the sarcasm tag?
