I think the debates are a waste of time. How can you explain complicated issues and proposals in 60 seconds? It’s nothing more than sound bites and “gotcha” moments. The internet can provide us with plenty of information about the candidates. Look how much we knew about Obama before he was elected. Voters who make up their minds based on these silly debates are the ones who voted for Obama.
