Public Knowledge Statement on Net Neutrality Rules (Soros funding big government takeover)
Public Knowledge press release ^ | September 23rd | Public Knowledge

Posted on 09/27/2011 7:19:12 AM PDT by Halfmanhalfamazing

The Federal Communications Commission’s Open Internet rules were published today in the Federal Register, to take effect on Nov. 20.

The following is attributed to Gigi B. Sohn, president and co-founder of Public Knowledge:

“We are pleased that the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) rules to protect an open Internet have been published. Although we wished they could have been stronger, we believe that the rules approved by the Commission are a good start to making certain consumers and innovators are protected from the power of large telephone and cable companies to remake the Internet to suit favored partners. We are prepared to vigorously defend the FCC’s rules in court and in Congress.

This is Soros money folks. Public Knowledge is a Soros funded astroturf group that's on the forefront of the media marxist movement.

Ars Technica has a snarky article about this here:

From vampires to communism: net neutrality an "Internet Iron Curtain"

They were happy to tell you that Public Knowledge was doing this, but they conveniently misplaced the information about who funds Public Knowledge. Which also means they can conveniently forget to tell you that Soros has fomented revolutions in several countries already. "Subversive activities" in his own words, "a lot of fun". (VIDEO)

You would think Soros would have made some serious enemies by now.

The FCC should stick to regulating Radio Frequencies and NOT what is ON them.

Somepeople say we need the FCC to regulate the “Public Decency” but that opens the door to all sorts of crap that we got in the “fairness doctrine” which stifled political speech in this country for decades until Reagan got rid of it.

Let the market decide what is decent and let the FCC regulate the “carrier waves” not what is carried on them.

Of course with the “Light Squared” debacle they can’t even do that anymore......

Oh he does, I remember him not having many friends in Russia. What is suprising to me is that he hasn’t been dosed with Polonium by a ex-kgb goon hired by any number of countries that hate his guts for singlehandedly ruining their economy.

The only thing I can think of is that he has an “Economic Dead Man Switch” that is he kicks it early it will be triggered and cause financial chaos. Either that or he spends the same amount on security as he sends to NGOs.
