Why did Obama Give Bunker Buster Bombs to Israel?

In late 2009, the Obama administration transferred 55 so-called bunker-buster bombs to Israel. The 5,000-pound bombs conceivably put Israel in the position to attack Iran's buried nuclear facilities--or to target Hezbollah's buried bunkers in Lebanon

This a scandal waiting to happen. I guarantee this came right from Plouffe or Axeldork. I smell their foul stench.(A deliberate Darth Vadar reference) A cynical and flaccid attempt to show Obama as a friend to the Jews when we know him more Himmler than Churchill.

These aren’t complicated bombs and I would expect that Israel has developed their own version. 55 isn’t enough to really do a lot of damage to Iran’s nuclear program. My guess is that they have a nuc version built for deep penetration. Plus a version that spreads some kind of flammable gas deep into a system of bunkers.
Destruction of Iran’s nuclear production facilities is going to take a lot of work..not like hitting one reactor out in the desert.

Actually (and this is not classified) the deep penetrators have a flammable liquid metal kicker.

I believe it was a zirconium metal suspension, but I can’t remember. I think mercury was in there somewhere.

The media is acting like Obama did this, but I remember the story being announced well before Obama’s election. He probably didn’t know it was goig throw and it was too late to stop it when he found out about it.

Now, they think this will help with the Jewish support.
