Here is the passage in citation:

R. Johanan said: When you see a generation ever dwindling, hope for him [the Messiah], as it is written, And the afflicted people thou wilt save.27 R. Johanan said: When thou seest a generation overwhelmed by many troubles as by a river, await him, as it is written, when the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him;28 which is followed by, And the Redeemer shall come to Zion.29

Now we all can't be saints. So, how can you make the world of sinners but through the lure of "equality"?

Are you Jewish? I’ve never had anyone quote the Sanhedrin to me, before. It’s extremely interesting. Obama and his friends in the Gamaliel(sp?) foundation and the Black Liberation Theology follow the Sanhedrin, more than the Christian Bible.

You know, it just occurred to me that the dumbing down of the US educational system is causing a return to the situation that existed during the Middle Ages, where the average person was unable to read or interpret religious teachings for themselves.

When I was a freshman in college, I was required to take a survey of religion course, which included all the main religious philosophers, including Nietzsche, Barth, Bonhoeffer, Tillich, Niebuhr and Augustine. I can’t even find a minister who has read them, today.
