True! Whiskey has high amounts of ellagic acid which apparently pops cancer cells like balloons.

Drink up!

Lucky you, I can’t even keep it alive in a pot in the front room. My SIL has to keep starting new ones for me.

Not that I am gung-ho over fiber. Highly over-rated.

“Coffee is good, coffee is bad.”

Wait...I thought coffee was back to “good” again? This is so confusing.

“It’s now associated with rectal cancer.”

Not if you drink it. Maybe this study was done in San Francisco.

To: I cannot think of a name

Well put.

I’ll bet it isn’t the juice that causes the cancer.

“Researchers believe it’s because fruit juices are low in fiber and often have added sugar.”

My understanding has always been, that juice doesn’t have added sugar, but anything called “Drink” does.

btw - I grew up on juice, that’s pretty much all we drank at home as kids. (that was back when you didn’t talk about cancer)

Will alcohol kill the effects of the juice?

I’ve only had about a half dozen drinks in over 20 years, but if it means I can continue to safely drink my juice, I’ll start stocking up on Vodka.

This is sure going to make for very interesting mornings and for some very short days..... ;>)

"Researchers believe it’s because fruit juices are low in fiber and often have added sugar."

It's full of sugar even if it's not added. It's not the fiber.

When you drink Vodka over ice, it can give you kidney failure,

When you drink Rum over ice, it can give you liver failure,

When you drink Whiskey over ice, it can give you heart problems,

When you drink Gin over ice, it can give you brain problems.

Apparently, ice is really bad for you.

Warn all your friends

That’s true. Coffee is really good for you and most people drink it without ice.
