Actually, it is the belief in the Constitution by still the majority of people that keeps the progressives from actually pursuing this course of action.
They’ve proven time and again that they don’t give a hoot for the Constitution. Their insecurity over the response to its suspension is the only thing that keeps them in check, at this point.
