Muammar Gaddafi's spokesman Moussa Ibrahim has been captured outside the ex-dictator's home town of Sirte, according to anti-Gaddafi forces. Ibrahim had been driving outside Sirte when he was arrested by fighters from Misrata, according to Mustafa bin Dardef a field commander of the National Transitional Council (NTC).
There were also reports that the fugitive was dressed as a woman but this could not be confirmed.
The public voice of the regime, Ibrahim fled Tripoli with the ousted Libyan leader when anti-Gaddafi forces overran the capital on August 23.
However he continued to issue statements through the Syrian-based Arrai television.

Like everything with this Libya thing, everything is vague and nonspecific.

What and who and why are “anti-Gaddafi forces”?
What and who are “fighters from Misrata”? and why are we helping and funding them?
What and who is the “National Transitional Council”? Who is funding them and by what right do they ‘claim’ authority of any kind?
Nothing is explained in detail. I don’t think any of us know what this is really all about or who is really benefiting from all of this bloodshed.
Will be interesting to see what comes out after Obama is ‘dethroned’.
Gadaffi was no saint by any standard, but for Obama to wake up one morning and say, “I think I’ll kill Gadaffi take over Libya today.” is beyond bizarre. What is really going on I wonder?

The obvious question is why MSM reports it? The answer is simple - this filler is used to hide what is really going on in Libya.

Moussa Ibrahim telephoned a Syria-based television channel on Saturday to deny reports that he himself had been captured this week. Ibrahim told Reuters on Monday he was regularly moving in and out of Gaddafi’s hometown, Sirte, which is encircled by anti-Gaddafi forces.
Media reports said Ibrahim, disguised as a woman, had been captured by forces loyal to the ruling National Transitional Council while in the NTC-held city of Misrata. “This information is a lie and does not reflect reality because I was near the front of Sirte with 23 fighters,” Ibrahim told Arrai TV.

So do I. Reports are beginning to filter out about human rights abuses, and the "risk" of radical Islamists "taking over." I think this is a gesture towards conceding the frightful reality.
