Being a deep thinker doesn't mean you're always right. Tancredo's roots are in Reagan conservatism. That is one reason why so many of his fellow Coloradans backed him early on for potus in 2007. When he dropped out and endorsed Romney, he lost a great deal of respect and looked out of touch.

No doubt liberals are out to get Tancredo. Liberals always target us conservatives.

The fact remains, John Tanton is a nativist, eugenicist and a white supremist. Tom Tancredo willfully and knowingly quoted a bogus study from CIS, one of Tanton's creations. That shows bad judgment on Tom's part. Sort of like when he endorsed Romney for potus in 2008.
