Van Jones, president of the progressive organization Rebuild the Dream, joins The Last Word to discuss what Washington should be doing about jobs. Jones calls the US' deficit problem "phony" and made up. "Hold on to your hats, we're going to have an October offensive to take back the American dream and rescue America's middle class," Jones told MSNBC's "The Last Word." Jones warns of an "American Fall" like there was an Arab Spring. Jones was President Obama's "green jobs czar" until he resigned in fall of 2009. Transcript below: Van Jones: "We are going to build a progressive counterbalance to the tea party. Eighty percent of Americans agree with everything that you say on this show, but we have no voice. We know that jobs are more important, and this phony, made-up deficit stuff they talk about. We know that people who have done well in America should do well by America and start paying America back in the form of more fair taxes.

Well, there has been a lot of talk of race war coming, including some pretty vicious hints from Obama. And I’m sure that Eric Holder and Janet Incompetano will be glad to stick up for Van Jones and his flash mobs when they make their appearance. As will the insane media.

Although Jones is by no means any kind of unique example, it just boggles my mind that complete moonbat nutjobs have gainful employment and earn respect in an economy that is flat on its ass. That we pay good money to people who want nothing more than to tear down the system that pays them, that exalts them as intellectual elites. Guys like this are just completely useless. Indeed, many of them are worse than useless. “Useless” would be a step up for many of them.
