If this country doesn't get working again, nothing else will matter. Governor Perry believes our best days are still ahead of us.

I agree, as President he can and will see realistic federal laws are enforced. He has the most experience in this area.

At that townhall forum last night Perry drove home what should be the fundamental issues this election season --- jobs jobs jobs, less taxes, less spending, less govt, deregulation and ending Obamacare. Along with assuring everyone he will fix SocSec for future generations while not touching current recipients.

While Perry has a less then ideal stance on immigration, the issue of illegal border crossings is being demagogue by creeps like Willard and the hordes of malcontents slinking around.

I agree with what you say..however it is too soon for me to back anyone..the Left loves watching the Right fight over immigration to cover the fact that TEXAS is properous, Texans love Perry and have joked they will vote against him to keep him as do not like who they see taking his place--a Rhino.

I focus on Jobs or the environment to make more jobs..and Texas has done that--one of the most successful states in America for jobs. LePage in Maine is turning his state around as well and not in headlines of talking the talk but walking the walk. If it were not so hot in Texas I would consider it a place I might like to live.

Low unemployment in Texas compared to the rest of the country..is this not why we need new leadership in the WH?

Fix government welfare programs, you will fix the immigration problem on the illegal side. More jobs make people richer which need more workers hired to do the things the affluent do not have time to do or choose to do.
