Sometimes sanity prevails.

If Canada disappeared tomorrow and the entire contribution to "man made global warming" caused by its citizens ceased, it would not change the future climate of this planet one iota. That is a fact. So, why should Canada do anything different? To set an example? Please.

I love those Keystone protestors in the US. If they do succeed in killing the pipeline, do they have any idea what is going to happen? Don't they know that Transcanada will simply build another pipeline over the mountains to the Pacific coast? China will end up buying the oil. How does that help "man made global warming". How does that help the US economy?

We don’t even need a pipeline- CN Rail has a proposal to move the oil to the coast with relatively modest additions to their infrastructure.
