Who even feels like flying anymore? I’ve been avoiding it...
This needs to be one of our conservative goals, right after Bozo care repeal, shut down the TSA and let the airlines handle their own security. This is one of the biggest mistakes Bush and the boys made, along with the frickin’ Homeland Security dept. We need to disband that one too, along with the EPA and the BATFE. Just for starters(No, I didn’t forget the dept of Ed.).
Yes and nothing is going to be done about it. I am waiting to see what a Republican President does about TSA. I have a $10 bet with myself that the answer is “nothing”.
Comply With Me
Comply with me, before you fly away
Remove those shoes and take a cruise
Through my peekaboo X-ray
Comply with me, I’m your friendly TSA
Comply with me, you domestic coach class bums
If you opt out I’ll just give a shout
To my icy-handed chums
Comply with me, bend over here it comes
Once I get all up there where your hair is ticklish
I’ll just fish
Got my wish
Once I get all up there you’ll be squirming like an eel
You may squeal
At the feel
When we’re together
Proctology is such a lovely trade
I’ll show you love with my rubber glove
Try not to be afraid
I’d be a perfect gentleman, if you had just obeyed
Comply with me, I’m GS8 pay grade
Janet Napolitano says to spread ‘em wide
Have you tried Astro-glide?
Janet Napolitano knows your clothes are off
Head aloft
Turn it and cough
When we’re together
Don’t crack wise or I’ll ruin your whole day
Please don’t frown when I pat you down
It alerts the CIA
It’s perfectly legal practice except at Gitmo Bay
Comply with me, comply comply
Comply with me, obey, obey, obey!
Check out the security risks on that one! Yeah!
Same thing happened to my breast cancer survivor wife a year ago, shortly after her surgery. She was in tears after the grope down. We never fly now. 2500 mile trip, burn the gas.
I got the pat down in Seattle, because the clips on my suspenders beeped. Held up the line while waiting for the pat downer, a quick wanding and all would be over. Everyone knew it was my suspenders, but regs are regs.
I’ve been waiting for one of these threads since we came back from Taiwan 3 weeks ago. Going through security there was so different than here. No taking shoes off. No taking computers out of bags. However, they really knew what they were looking for in the x-ray machine . They seemed to employ more of the Isreali model.
The words "fight back" need to start MEANING something again.
I flew today, and watched while TSA agents required a frail old man in a wheelchair to stand and walk into a whole body scanner (it was very difficult for him to walk). Then, they also made him stand up for the full body pat-down!
Surprise, surprise, no weapons or contraband on that great-grandpa!
It turns out that it was his 91st birthday...
