FRANCES FOX PIVEN: "I teach at the Graduate School of the City University of New York. I am here because I am so enthusiastic about the possibilities of this sit-in, over the marches that are occurring over postal worker issues, the sister demonstrations that are starting in Chicago and Los Angeles, and maybe in Boston. I think we desperately need a popular uprising in the United States. None of us know. I study movements. None of us know the exact formula for when those movements erupt, but it could be. And if that is true, then these people who are here are really wonderful. I would do anything to help them." (TV Show: "Democracy Now!")

Unless it’s the Tea Party - then it doesn’t count.

Bring it on, wench.

We may as well get CW II over sooner, rather than later.

There is one. The TEA Party. The tax slaves are rebelling. How cool is that?

The first thing we need to do when we uprise is shut off the food to the useless eaters in the big cities. Do these people really want what they say they want?

I often wonder if it serves any purpose to even cite utterances from such sources as from this shrew . That it serves to give them credability.

It is only a “popular uprising” if socialists do it, otherwise, it is not “popular” but a reactionary plot.

Yet one more example of the self-constructed, self-maintained Plastic Reality that socialists inhabit. This is why the only way to deal with these people is to deny them access to power, for the instant they attain it, they change the rules and metrics. We no longer have the luxury to entertain these people by allowing them to have their way.

Note to Tea Party: start demanding that any budget line-item that funds socialists and socialist causes must be cut or eliminated at the first opportunity. Why it is so important to borrow money from China to fund NPR is beyond me.

If the left were to ever rise up in a movement that, like Pivin wants, interfered with other peoples lives, they 'd lose all their free stuff. Their movement would be self defeating. They'd be going backwards.
Imagine their teen age anguish if the tax slaves said "enough" and cut off their freebie life lines. No more free cell phones or Internet access. No more surfing Face Book!

We already have a popular uprising in the United States.

It's called the "Tea Party", and it is a genuine American movement - not one birthed in the fever swamps of academia!

Even as she sucks at the teat of the state, this woman should remember the state’s own laws against sedition.

I am so enthusiastic about the possibilities of this sit-in, over the marches that are occurring over postal worker issues, the sister demonstrations that are starting in Chicago .....

I walk by these ass-clowns every day on my way into the office. They're parked at LaSalle & Jackson, frequently blocking the sidewalks and intersections. The Chicago police are doing NOTHING about the smelly freak-show that happens there daily.

I have pictures to post of these so-called "99%'ers" as they call themselves. Soon as I find a reliable picture hosting service I'll link to them here. Trust me when I tell you, these idiots DO NOT look like/represent anywhere near 99% of Americans.

Overwhelmingly, they're a bunch of 20-30 year old spoiled brats with bad haircuts, funny hair colors, body piercings and a few homless people holding signs thrown in to boost their numbers.

It's a damn' freak show.
