I often wonder if it serves any purpose to even cite utterances from such sources as from this shrew . That it serves to give them credability.

This is why the only way to deal with these people is to deny them access to power, for the instant they attain it, they change the rules and metrics. Note to Tea Party: start demanding that any budget line-item that funds socialists and socialist causes must be cut or eliminated at the first opportunity. Why it is so important to borrow money from China to fund NPR is beyond me.

I walk by these ass-clowns every day on my way into the office. They're parked at LaSalle & Jackson, frequently blocking the sidewalks and intersections. The Chicago police are doing NOTHING about the smelly freak-show that happens there daily.

The news report today said that half the marchers from the Brooklyn Bridge went in one direction to protest “poverty” and the other half went in the opposite direction to protest genetically modified foods.
They are immature young adults just protesting for the sake of protesting the onset of adulthood.

And that, of course, is the flaw in the Cloward-Piven strategy: Americans faced with the system being overwhelmed by a crisis of the sort Prof. Piven thought would bring calls for socialism are turning out to prefer telling the government to pound sand and fixing the problems themselves, rather than clamoring for the state to save them.

I would like to say that I think our country would be safer when she's the same temperature as her old Marxist pal Mr. Cloward, but unfortunately that won't be the case. Socialists/Marxists/communists always seem to find fertile, empty minds to plant their failed, corrosive and destructive ideologies in. When she's gone, her ideas are going to unfortunately live on in the reptilian hind brains of many liberals, particularly the liberals pouring out of universities into economies that her ideals and principles have effectively crippled, and are well on their way to destroying.
But, after all, why should we be surprised? It has long been their stated goal to do just that. But, people didn't really believe it. They thought that people like her were just marginal, little old women who wouldn't hurt anybody.
