Cheney: After Yemen strike, Obama owes apology to Bush
washington post ^ | 10/2/2011 | By Joby Warrick

Former vice president Dick Cheney on Sunday called last week’s CIA drone strike against al-Qaeda operative Anwar Awlaki a validation of the George W. Bush administration’s terrorist-fighting strategy, and said that President Obama should apologize for his past criticism of those policies.

Cheney endorsed the killing of Awlaki as “justified,” despite Awlaki’s U.S. citizenship, and suggested that the Obama White House was being hypocritical when it approved a deadly strike against the New Mexico-born Awlaki while condemning Bush’s use of so-called enhanced interrogation methods of al-Qaeda prisoners.

I had forgotten about the outrage over “torture” as well.

Outrage over water boarding.

They were outraged at that, and supremely concerned with the rights of terrorists, to the point of ridiculousness and having civilian trials, and closing GITMO.

Then they go and blow this guy up without a concern at all for due process...

Obama makes no mistakes.

Obama can make no mistakes.

Obama only apologizes for other people, or the country as a whole. Since he never makes mistakes, the whole concept of a personal apology is something he cannot be expected to understand.

I thought everyone knew that.

Hussein owes lots of apologies...to my great-grandchildren, to Bush, to the millions who were fooled by the LIE, to Israel.

But for one to truly apologize, one needs to be capable of shame.

That is the best FR circulated pic of all time. I love the looks of Bush and Cheney.

Bush: ‘Yep, yep you go right ahead and do that, you transform the country into you’re little vision of paradise. Nah, don’t worry about those pesky laws of economics. Yep, sure, yep, uh huh....’

Cheney: ‘You rat bastard SOB, I got my eye on you. You screw up and I’ll cut you...’

Wish Cheney would run.

A lot of folks hammered him out here; but I believe he’s a Patriot. Regardless of what others say.

Photo says a thousand words...

Bush, looking tired, and a bit relieved that his turn in the crucible is over; and Cheney glaring at Soros’ Shoeshine Boy as if he were housefly dung, just knowing that he’s going to eff the entire thing up.

It is amazing to see how much George W. Bush aged because of the demands placed upon him over his eight years in office. Yet Obama looks as though he hasn’t aged a day. Bush viewed the office of the Presidency as ‘work’, while Obama views it as ‘leisure’.
