I do not understand all of this over the top hatred for Cain I have found on this site the last couple of days. Now you have people calling him “race-baiter” and accusing him of being pro-homo, etc., because he answered a reporter’s question.

It's sickening is what it is. Disingenuous crap. A year out and some people can't wait to do their CNN-wannabe act by tearing and ripping at any single perceived "impurity". It's appalling.

I have been going through the posting histories of the people attacking Mr. Cain for the last couple of days. Very few have been Sarah Palin fans, most of us Sarah Palin fans have been supporting Mr. Cain enthusiastically. Sarah Palin herself has indicated on several occasions now that she likes Mr. Cain very much. Anyone who watched her "flavor of the week" comment could tell you that she meant no disrespect. She went on to clarify her remarks the next day.

There are a few Ron Paul supporters who are mostly concerned about Mr. Cains time with the Federal Reserve. By and large however the attacks have mostly been coming from persons with posting histories which indicate that they have been enthusiastic Gov. Perry supporters.

I don't have a problem with people being critical and making valid points. That is part of the vetting process here that helps make the site so valuable. Repeated disingenuous inflammatory remarks based on half truths are troublesome, especially when at least a couple of the threads have had the appearance of some type of organized effort to unjustly defame Mr. Cain. To me it doesn't indicate hatred as much as it indicates desperation by those who have put a lot of money into the Perry campaign only to see their man floundering and losing his support to Herman Cain.
