If Gov. Palin is such a great fighter she wouldn’t have quit without finishing her term as Governor. she is the Republican nominee, I will fight tooth and nail to get her elected. I won’t vote for her if she gets in the primaries, but if

I love irony. The person who complains about Sarah’s incomplete term has trouble completing 2 out of three sentences in their post! Gotta love it!

The ethics suits cost the State of Alaska $2 Mil and brought government almost to a halt because they had to search for documents to fight them. So she should have stayed and tied up the state?

Never give power to a person who will not relinquish it for the good of the people.

Funny how that works. Your point is exactly why I won't support the GOP unless it is a real conservative.

Sarah Palin was in Alaska, enjoying an 88% approval rating, when the GOP rightfully realized they needed her help to get the base out to vote. After coming down to the lower 48 and campaigning for McCain for months. She continually drew larger crowds than the top of the ticket. Maybe that's what ticked em off. She goes back to what once was a nice life and instead she gets silly lawsuit, after silly lawsuit filed against her. How much was she earning at her position? Maybe 150k but now is in debt for half a million. And why? Because she helped out McCain and the GOP.

I would think at this point, decent people would actually try to help her out, after all her help to them. But, here's what they did. Anonymous McCain staffers tried to smear her. McCain himself went on Leno and mocked her.

Now, the GOP wants to say “Gee, I wonder why she quit”. What a bunch of jerks.

To the concern “she quit” people.

You hold a position, in this position you can have endless frivolous lawsuits brought against you at little or no cost to the subsidized plaintiffs.

You earn $125,000.00 a year, you must personally pay all legal defense costs out of your own pocket. Said legal costs are now at $500,000,00+ and rising everyday.

Most all your time is now devoted to fighting the lawsuits and you cannot properly perform the work your position demands and your staff is thrown into turmoil with their constant researching and presenting evidence to rebut the lawsuits.

You attempt to start a legal defense fund, but immediately there are lawsuits brought stating that it is illegal for one in your position to do so, and a judge rules you must shut it down until the issue is decided in court.

You have taken out a second mortgage on your home, it is evident the legal costs are bankrupting your family.

Your staff under you are brought into the lawsuits, they too must obtain lawyers, their salaries cannot sustain these costs and it threatens their families economic well being also.

You can bring it all to an end by resigning, now tell me honestly, what would you do?
