The article is a slick attempt to whitewash the inconvenient truths, containing many claims, but no substance in its attempts to do so. It sounds like a press release from one of the coherent members of Perry’s staff.
I don’t know.
I think jobs are “the” issue.
I do not know if Perry can tie himself closely enough to the Texas record to make it the issue for HIS campaign.
On a related note, I can personally vouch for what the article says about tort reform. Perry DID play a big role in that back in 2003. I know that personally, as I have been very involved in the tort reform movement. Perry DID in fact stand up to the trial bar on that, to his immense credit. I know that will make some freepers mad, but it’s true.
