Wrong.
Legitimizing the illegals as guest workers means EXCUSING THEIR LAW-BREAKING.
It means placing them ahead of the millions of law-abiding immigrants who played by the rules and had to wait in many cases for years for the Green Card giving them the right to work in this country.
You say it would cause them to PAY taxes?
Well, many of these illegals are committing identity fraud and ALREADY HAVE social security numbers with which they file for taxes.
And GUESS WHAT?
Like the rest of the 50% of tax filers who pay no tax, THEY GET MONEY BACK.
The EITC and child tax credits administered through the IRS tax filing system are just ANOTHER FORM OF WELFARE.
Having more of the illegals file tax returns just means MORE WELFARE FOR THE LAW-BREAKERS.
Yes, Herman Cain is for the “existing path to citizenship.”
That is the current law on the books for people to apply for and receive Green Cards and eventually citizenship.
Perry is for “amnesty” and is carrying water for his open-borders cheap-Mexican-labor financial backers whose bank accounts benefit from shifting much of the costs of their labor force onto the backs of the rest of the population.
I love the Alabama law and the Arizona law. They are great!
Securing the borders is the first step in all of this. States passing anti illegal laws is a great move also.
That said Perry does not support amnesty.
Yes? No?
If Yes, isn't that legitimizing their contribution?
If no, will he deport them? Pass sweeping labor laws that cover all the states stating hiring illegals will result in fines and prosecutions?
You see Cain is walking a line here without saying anything.
