Did the White House try to strong-arm a journalist in the wake of the Justice Departments Operation Fast and Furious scandal? CBS News correspondent Sharyl Attkisson says government leaders took a very aggressive tack following her revelations earlier this year.
On Tuesdays Laura Ingraham Show, Attkisson said DOJ spokeswoman Tracy Schmaler and White House associate communications director Eric Schultz yelled and screamed at her over the story.
The DOJ woman was just yelling at me, Attkisson said. The guy from the White House on Friday night literally screamed at me and cussed at me. Eric Schultz oh, the person screaming was Tracy Schmaler. She was yelling, not screaming. And the person who screamed at me was Eric Schultz at the White House.

Sounds like she hit a nerve because someone got furious real fast.
I am personally shocked that CBS didn’t spike the story.
Dan RaTHer certainly would have.
I’m thinking the Tiffany Network is wise enough not to hitch themselves to this coverup. By taking a neutral position (like they’re supposed to) and just asking questions they don’t have to worry about a credibility hit later on. I’m also thinking that CBS is backing their reporter against the White House because they may well know more than they’re letting on. It might be nice to get someone to make a written denial of their knowledge of Fast & Furious and then go public with emails or etc. clearly showing that it’s a lie.
(CBS News) Sharyl Attkisson was named CBS News’ investigative correspondent in August 2007, primarily focusing on government spending and taxpayer issues for the “Follow the Money” franchise of the “CBS Evening News.”
Sounds like this lady is taking her job seriously and just couldn’t square the crap she saw. Irregardless of whatever her ideology.
The DOJ reps were probably very frustrated that they could not simply slap the reporter in irons for her impertinence. That is reserved for the messiah’s next term.

Testefying before congress under oath is better than a written denial not before a court. Every word is written in the transcriptions.
Why is C BS whining about, they voted for that Marxist, and they will vote for him again and kiss his behind like its ice cream
