He should have said, “Hell we can’t even secure our own damn border!”

Rumsfeld is cooler than two Fonzies tied together with a snake.
(picked up that line on the interwebs somewhere...)

IMO, going on Al Jazeera is akin to going on MSNBC, a conservative going on either is a fools course of action.

This was a great way to start the day. Loved Rummy's response to the agitator's questions, and I especially love your “Kung-Fu Master” picture.

I still have that Esquire mag interview years ago where he stated that he does not have a chair in his negotiating/staff room because sitting down accomplishes nothing.

Foukara attempted to ask his question again. He wondered if Rumsfeld felt responsibility felt responsibility for tens, maybe hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqis killed by the coalition, as well as by the criminals who Rumsfeld had blamed for much of the violence in the country. Rumsfeld didnt even attempt to answer the question. He accused Foukara of asking him pejorative questions, and told him he though it was in his being and nature to be disrespectful. I'm sorry Rumsfeld subjected himself to this interview. If he ever came to my area for a book signing, I'd stand in line to meet him.

Rumsfeld...1979

I am studying his book! Every page has so much information about what was happening in DC and Iraq and Afghanistan, it has to be read carefully. Just imagine “the rest of the story” that is either still classified, or would be considered personal insult. Not only are there a LOT of words in this book, there is a lot of reading between the lines.
I am glad that he is speaking in public forums.
Many Americans will never know how fortunate our country has been to have both Rumsfeld and Cheney in office.

I thought it was the best political book that I’ve ever read. He’s not afraid to admit his mistakes. I loved that he showed his disdain for Condoleeza Rice and Colin Powell. All in all, I think he’s the definition of a true public servant.

“I am reading his book and Donald is brilliant.”
I’ve always been impressed by Rumsfield.
But, I didn’t read his book.
Question: Why did Bush remove him immediately after the election after saying that he supported him?
