Living amid Hollywood hypocrisy
The Washington Examiner ^ | 09/30/11 | By: Janine Turner

I had to listen to it for years on sets, at dinners, in rehearsals, in the make-up chair, and at award ceremonies. The judgmental, hot, mostly uninformed rants of Hollywood liberals breathed down my neck and sucked all the air from the room. Usually, the rants were so hostile that I was afraid to speak up, or so ridiculous that I thought it futile to reply. The liberal Hollywood elite, who stand firmly on their right to be heard, their right to express, their right to persuade through art, arrogantly deny that same freedom to anyone who may disagree with them. And like most liberals, they have a blind spot for their own intolerance

Love it!

In Hollywood, they think America is inherently bad, a world embarrassment, even as they gorge themselves on the American dream.

Every sentence is a profound statement of truth, from an "insider". Way to go, Janine!

Is Janine Turner a lesbian?

It’s a question, not an accusation.

From Wikipedia...

Turner was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, the daughter of Janice, a real estate agent, and Turner M. Gauntt, a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and pilot for Braniff Airways for 30 years.[3][4][5] Her father is from East Texas, while her mother is from South Texas.[6] She has a brother, Tim, and was raised in Euless, Texas.

Turner lives on a longhorn cattle ranch outside of Dallas, Texas, with her daughter, Juliette Turner-Jones.[7]

As a conservative Republican, in the 2008 election, she campaigned for VP candidate Alaska Governor Sarah Palin and expressed her concern for what she perceives as a decidedly liberal bias in the media as a guest on the Fox News Channel show Huckabee on October 25, 2008 and on the CNN show Larry King Live on October 28, 2008. Turner is a frequent contributor to Republican Party candidates and organizations, donating at least $7,000 over the past decade.[8]

Turner and her daughter Juliette began an organization called “Constituting America” aimed at educating Americans about the U.S. Constitution.[9]

On May 17, 2010 Turner was a paid speaker at an event sponsored by the “Americans for Prosperity” foundation, honoring Tea Party citizen leaders.

Would be nice to see more Hollywood conservatives (Stallone, Willis, Voight, etc) pool their resources to produce more Right-themed movies, and rub the Lefties’ noses in it.

Would be nice to see more GOP wealthy spending money on funding movies than pissing it away on college football.

Not really necessary. Movie theaters are dying from both impossible prices and lack of anything people want to see. With few exceptions, movies have devolved into CGI, deafening sound, and the same tired Business is Evil meme. Yuch.
