The problem with the poll is that the democrats were not listed as a choice.

If you ask people do they support a jobs plan, most will answer in the affirmative. Ask them if they support a new stimulus, most will not. Ask them if they support half a trillion in new spending, most will not.
I didn’t look at the question specifics yet, but my guess is they just called it “job plan” instead of either a “stimulus” or “spending” bill.

It will do it’s job by convincing the uneducated and uniformed that if the majority of people approve of it, then they should too.
The Junk Media loves these sorts of polls since it tends to validate their existing story lines. Since most of the people who respond to this poll neither pay much attention nor vote, these tend to follow exactly the story line the "news media" is currently pushing. These people usually can be relied upon to just recite what ever the last headline or broadcast news blurb said.
ABC is transparently pushing the DNC directed fable that 0 is the "new Truman" running against the "do nothing Congress". What ABC was careful to cover up the 5 point+ advantage the GOP Congress holds over the Democrats in Congress on what voters consider the top issues of the nation.
Yeah, he might be making some headway....he is actively going around on our dime promoting his socialist agenda.
The Republican leadership, otoh, has snuck off into a corner and is sucking their thumb.
How about the Republicans letting their testicles drop, and go on their OWN “education tour”, showing people how Hussein’s plan is nothing but Porkulus Part IV?
Hussein is not going to shut his insufferable pie hole—all this assclown knows how to do is TALK and make speeches to fawning audiences and media. So be an alternate VOICE out there, Republicans!

The problem with a poll like this, is that Congress is not a nationally elected office...of course everyone is mad at Congress.By that I mean, they are all mad at everyone else’s representative. They all believe they have the good one, and everyone else has the one that is ruining the country. So, when it comes to election time they will still vote for their own. ABC does not want to point this out because it will hurt their “people are going to vote out Congress template”
