Not that they aren’t both good men, but why would you choose two people who aren’t even running with primaries just 4 months away?

I’m glad McCain picked her, otherwise Obama would have gotten close to 60% of the vote. Landslide territory for US presidential elections begins at 56%.

That’s exactly what I’m thinking too.

"Sarah was our only hope to save the nation, the world, the Constitution and the American family."

There is no such mortal person.

It is going to take all conservative citizens and many good leaders to restore what has been lost in the past 40 years.

Your statement strikes me as no better than the left thinking Obama was the savior.

She will be on the record with Greta tonight and for the first time I WILL NOT be watching....betrayed is not the word that is strong enough for me, I was ready to help, I was ready to give, and I will NOT be running over to Walmart now for the DVD, which I went to get at 5am this morning....glad I didn’t get it.

She let these bastards win.

Then say hello to 4 more years of Obama if people go 3rd party. Think here.. This nation is on the line. Give me Romney in the White House any day of the week over Obama.. Do not flush our chances to get Obama out of the White house. I am 23 and we need to fix this nation. Am no fan of Romney but will he put this nation on a much better track then Obama? yes..

THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!
I , a Republican woman who is to the RIGHT of Rush Limbaugh, have kept out of the Palin business all this time. Now I’ll have my say.
I don’t understand this Cult of Palin. First, she HAD to run to save us all, not NOT running will save us better! This is sad.
This seems like a cult of personality more than anything. Very much like the Obama people consider him ‘the One’. The attitude and language from the Palin people has been the same.
Obama is no ‘messiah’ and neither is Palin.
She TEASED the American public for as long as possible. It was a way to stay in the news. Now its put up or shut up time, so she’s NOT running.
PLEASE lets all concentrate on getting Obama OUT of there-while we can, legally- and not on raising someone who is NOT going to get into the fight to Joan of Arc status.

Once she quit she was toast for any POTUS run.

This is still a tired canard, even if Gov. Palin isn't running.

Well my next move ... hmmmm ... I only know one for sure ... I will never, ever, ever, ever support or vote for Romney. Never gonna happen. I’ll vote 3rd or write in a name.

For now? Cain probably. I don’t know if I can ever be convinced on Perry either but ZERO chance of being convinced on Romney the Democrat.

So she wasn’t really playing a master strategy game of 10 dimensional chess, after all?

Oh well, she wasn;t electable any ways.

She didn’t have to win....as a candidate she could have fought for us and kept our hopes and dreams in front of the country, now she is just going to be seen as a quitter.

She could have spoken at all the debates, she could have carried our causes to the media, now she is nothing, she has deserted her opportunity and that is the biggest disappointment of all.....

You are a perfect example of what Rush refers to as "a young skull full of mush."

I don't vote for abortion and government mandated health care.

Not if it means Romney. Eviscerate me if you want, but I’d rather fight the long fight for conservatism than to vote for Romney. Talk about 1 step forward and 100 backwards. yeah, I loathe Obama, but to Hell with Romney. I WILL not fight for him in any way, shape or form.

No, it is not a canard.

It was my immediate impression because it was just too big a hammer that she handed to the opposition - and America does not like quitters.

Did you run out and get your DVD yet?

Sarah Palin will go down in history as a remarkable woman.
I hope she has made the judgement that she is most
effective when she is not front and center. As a presidential candidate, she becomes a target of the
relentless media and hateful left. As a powerful Republican
on the sidelines, she can actually move conservative goals
forward and advocate for conservatism and conservative
candidates—something that would be nearly impossible
if she was tied down as a candidate. I judge this as
positive for conservatism and hope she becomes an engine
of support for the conservative elements of the party
platform and pushes the presidential candidate toward
more conservative stands.

Romney in the WH dilutes conservatism for a decade. Obama in the WH galvanizes conservatism.

I will NOT vote Romney. I’d rather fight and die than surrender. And voting Romney is a surrender.
