I guess my tagline is no longer apt. (: I’m truly disappointed but can understand why Sarah isn’t running. Perry and Romney cancel each other and Huntsman leaves me searching for a barf bag. So that leaves Cain, Santorum, Gingrich, Bachmann, and Paul.

Newt is smart and despite his baggage I’d vote for him...he’s also pro-life which is a major concern otherwise there’s Cain.

I disagree, there is every reason to believe that Sarah can still be the first female President, just not yet. She's still quite young, and 2016, 2020, 2024 are all possibilities. Plus the added time gives her the opportunity to gain all sorts of experience and support. :)

Newt/Cain for me and I have loved Sarah, but chose these two as the most conservative -- combined with the best bet for our Nation -- before I knew she would not run.

The sheer crap she has generated, balanced by her wonderful writings and things of substance to say, have much to contribute to the entire country.

It is a crime that those who call her a "quitter" cannot see real sacrifice for the people who elected her.

She had become the liberal bonfire sacrifice -- and was not going to be able to fill her commitment to Alaska, just as she would have a problem with the hatred and vitriol of the left if she ran.

I believe it will be a futile thing for the left (OR the "righteous" right) to bring up and rehash those things about Newt that have been so public for so long that it gives one a headache. Time does go on! He has gotten his forgiveness from where it counted ... and that was not from anyone or any entity in this world!
