GOP Establishment Now Coalescing Around Romney?
Pajamas Media ^ | Bryan Preston

Following Governor Christie’s announcement on Tuesday top GOP official and bundler Gerogette Mosbacher told reporters, “We do not consider Perry a factor… We know who will be our nominee.” Race for 2012 reported:

Those words were spoken today by Georgette Mosbacher, RNC Finance Co-Chair and huge GOP fundraiser, after Chris Christie’s announcement. The “we” is all the big bundlers, fundraisers, and money folks who have been sitting on the sidelines waiting for the field to be set — and that quote represents the coalescing around Mitt Romney that is expected to happen rather quickly now. Mosbacher went on to say:

“I think tomorrow, we’ll be contacting one another and probably put something together with Romney… And I would say that the race is now Romney and Obama. Quite frankly, the enthusiasm wasn’t there at the outset. He’s less conservative than a lot of us would like. However, our first and foremost goal is to defeat Obama. And we do believe Romney, in terms of independents, will be a strong candidate. We will coalesce behind him now… the time has come to get behind him… Tomorrow I’ll be on the phone all day. Quite frankly, it’ll be easier, because now we know who it is who will be our nominee. So we will pull our Rolodexes out and get to work.”

The reason why the left have no problem with Romney is because they know he will keep all the insane regs and laws in place.

Openly serving homosexuals will still serve, obama care will still stand, etc

Myth
Myth's the Man.
If he can't do it
Nobody will get a chance too unless there are snowballs in hell or out-donates every blue-blooded east coast liberal rino.

I think Donald Trump is the wild card.

Trump has threatened to run as an independent if he doesn’t like the GOP nominee. Whether he will pull the trigger and actually do it, who knows. I’m sure the Obama-bots will be happy if Trump jumps in.

I hope Cain wins the primaries and makes this Georgette person cry in her beer.

The GOP ESTABLISHMENT has always coalesced around Romney. The base of the party will choose the anti-Establishment candidate, either Perry or Cain IMHO.

>>>>>>Assume that Romney wins this thing.
Who would a logical running mate be?

No matter who, Romney will never get my vote. My guess is a significant number of conservatives will also not choose Willard under any circumstance. Romney is not a part of any backup plan I know of.

YOUR right in the bastard area.

""""top GOP official and bundler Gerogette Mosbacher told reporters, “We do not consider Perry a factor… We know who will be our nominee”""""

Bought and paid for bastards. We will just have to prove her/them wrong.

Wondering, when Romney looses this one, will that STOP him forever from trying?

The game was rigged long before any of us were born. The two canidates will be very close in outlook, just like always.

Interview this morning on Bob & Mark radio program:

http://barbaricthoughts.com/2011/10/video-palin-on-her-decision-not-to-run-on-the-bob-and-mark-show/

Said she came close to saying ‘yes’ until the last few days.

Two of the kids said ‘no’ to her running. I’m sure it was Track and Willow.

She says she will be on FAUX tv this morning and FOX radio today. Didn’t specify further.

All these comments lately about how we will have to vote for Romney or we get 0bama - it’s like saying it’s better to have leukemia than AIDS.

VP is a nearly powerless position.
Their primary job is to fly to funerals of foreign dignitaries. Once every 10 years they might cast a tie breaker vote in the senate.

It’s no consolation at all to have a conservative VP with an unprincipled presidential candidate.

The focus should be on getting the most conservative electable primary candidate.

“I will not vote for Romney. No way. No how. Don’t care what happens to the republicans if they put this liberal up as the nominee. I will not vote for him. End of subject.”

Second that.......
