If I believed what you say I would write off America as dead and not bother with any of it. Might not even vote at all. Better to spend the time and energy preparing my kids for a life without America, because it’s what will happen if we keep the status quo of lawlessness - which is how the establishment got where it is and what it will ALWAYS fight to keep.
If the establishment underestimates how much it is despised right now, they will seal America’s demise.
Since both Rubio and Palin have said they would turn down a VP slot, it seems unproductive to wish for either.

Yeah.... I don’t see much chance of Cain picking Palin. Cain really needs someone who knows how to get things done in Washington, and that is Newt Gingrich.
...and if you think about it, people always say that being a governor is the best executive experience for running the country. While that is partially true, knowing how to get things done in Washington is also extremely valuable. I’m guessing congressmen who want to try to pass an important bill are not calling Rick Perry or Mitt Romney for advice.... they are calling Newt Gingrich.
However, consider the delicious irony of a Cain/Palin ticket to counter an Obama/Clinton ticket.
My gut tells me that if Obama's polling numbers stay in the tank, he'll either be pressured to drop out of the race (clearing the way for Hillary) or more likely, to drop Biden from the ticket and put Hillary on it instead.
If the latter happens, a Cain/Palin ticket will effectively cancel out the "historical factor" of the first black man/woman ticket that the Democrats will likely play to the hilt.
I hate race/gender based politics but if we are going to play that game, we could do much worse than Cain/Palin.
It’s the “how to get things done” that is screwing this country. Obama knows EXACTLY how to get things done: by executive order and unaccountable czars/regulators.
The left has nothing to gripe at Obama about. What they are mad about is that he did everything he said he would without being able to hide the putrescence of it all from the common people. He wasn’t sneaky enough about it. And nobody will ever be able to be sneaky enough about it, because what the left is after just plain stinks.
The gal who suggested that the elections be called off basically admitted that the left can never accomplish their goals as long as the people involved have to be worried about what the little people think. The left is finally figuring out that what they want is poison to most Americans.
Contrast that with Reagan, who wasn’t supposed to be electable because he was so different from the establishment - but who accomplished what the country needed, and was loved for it by the little people (even though despised by the elites).
You're kidding, right? Other than Obamacare--the version of which that passed was decidedly NOT what liberals wanted--Obama doesn't have much to point to as far as signature liberal accomplishments.
Obama has been a very bad President for a lot of reasons. One of which is that he's been terribly ineffective at doing anything and then blames Congress for lack of leadership. He is a joke. Everyone knows he is a joke, including liberals. One of the reasons why he is a joke is that he is over his head.
As an Ohioan, I can honestly tell you that we have nobody suitable for the 2012 ticket.

And as for the perry contingent that keeps insisting that Cain supports romney, do a search. You will find a whole lot of criticism of romney from Cain. So they lie. Trying to smear Cain isn’t gonna help rick perry. It just isn’t. Perry is his own worst enemy.

Might be that voters, after the Obama experience, will want solidity, stability, predictability and experience for the next president. We won’t be seeking another president powered into our hearts by their interesting-ness, potential, way with words, what have you.
Thus, Palin and Cain are out of the picture for now. Maybe next time around.
Newt has lived in DC for decades. That is his residence.
Cain seems very solid, stable and predictable. That said, I just don’t see the executive authority, the hardness. We’ll see as the campaign progresses.
Agreed. Someone from Florida or Ohio. How come no one has mentioned Gov. John Kasich? Moderate, but he would win Ohio, and Ohio always decides the general.
