Very dedicated, or very cold. Your question is a serious one in political philosophy. Romans in the early and middle Republic were like that. So were the Spartans. To an extent so were the Founders, who pledged their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor to the causes of separation and liberty. Hard schools, to which we do not measure up.
Hard times are coming though, and will produce hard people.
Bannon and Breitbart are anti establishment. It won’t affect Cain, but likely Obama or Romney.
Having been in her shoes at a local level - School Board - I prefer to believe that after much prayer she is at peace with her decision, as I am with mine.
Standing up for what is right and for the right reasons earns you no friends in today’s political environment. The wear and tear on both family and friends is beyond belief and understanding unless you have walked in those shoes.
For a Christian in politics it is never a political battle, only a spiritual one. The problem comes when those around you do not share your beliefs. Even though they share the party label, spiritually they will be at war with you and your family. Even those that support you will go underground to avoid being labeled as one of “Those”.
Sarah has also been blessed with young children, one with very special needs. For a mother and father this must be weighed above politics. I pray for Sarah and Todd, their children, family and friends. She has reminded us of how good it feels to be an American and to be proud of it!
The challenge now is simply to continue to stay involved or to GO GALT. This is an every day choice and challenge. I believe God requires us to stay engaged in the system He has blessed us with. But going Galt is sorely tempting. It is time for all of God’s children to pray for the strength to get off the sidelines and that Christian candidates would seek every office in the land and restore our nation to a Constitutional government as begun by our founders and envisioned by great leaders such as Washington, Lincoln, and Reagan.
I pray for our leaders and our nation and trust that God in his almighty providence will make plain the leader we need for president through the upcoming primary process. But as important as the Presidency is, every elected position from city alderman on up matters. Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country! This is more than an old typing excercise it is the backbone of our great nation!
Sweet, sweet justice for the woman the frikking left tried to bankrupt. I hope she make gazillion more. Put that on your mirror and snort it.

I agree. And had the feeling, while reading your post, that our Father is answering prayers regarding the direction of our country. Amazing people are coming forward to stand strong regarding adherence to the principles of true conservatism and our foundations as a nation.
The liberals have gone to far. Way to far. And stand naked before a nation waking up and finally smelling the stench.

Yeah my wife just pointed out that some of our founding fathers neglected their families pretty bad, during some pretty dangerous times, to do what they did. We don’t seem to be made of the same stuff these days.

Until we walk a mile in her shoes, we will never know what she endured. The trash in the White House pimping the trash who call themselves “journalists” with one goal - Trashing a very decent woman. Breitbart never disappoints. I am betting romney or perry. perry seems likely. He is a crony’s crony. How could someone whose poll numbers are dropping like a stone from a ten story building raise MORE money than he could when he was on top of the building? It just stinks. And I will bet that it has to do with how/who/why perry struck the fatal blow againt Palin when michele bachmann failed.

As much as I’d love it to be Perry, I’m pretty sure Bannon and Breitbart’s comments were made before Perry declared.
