Stephen Bannon, who made the Sarah Palin documentary “The Undefeated,” says that he thinks her decision not to run will make the Republican primary “a lot less interesting.”

“She was very straightforward,” Bannon says. “She told people that her decision would be through consultation with her family and through prayer. That is what she did, and she made the decision that this was not the time for her.”
He adds, “People read a lot more in to these things than there is. I don’t think people realize how life altering running for president is.”
Bannon says that it is now less likely that the primary season will see a battle for the heart and soul of the Republican party akin to Ronald Reagan’s challenge to President Gerald Ford’s nomination in 1976. “Without Governor Palin, I don’t think you’ll have that battle.”

You need to get your facts straight, mrs.
Knock it off. There’s no reason to keep up the insults. Many people will still admire her and whether you think so she’ll be a draw for people & a tireless campaigner. You don’t like her. Good for you but to be honest, I don’t think most people give a rip. For some reason you’re incredibly bitter, whether about life in general or Palin specifically but it would probably be better for your health & your blood pressure to just go on other threads. I’m sick to death of the contentiousness around here. You’ve said your peace saying it several more times isn’t going to make it anymore true but it is going to taint your relationship with people here. Supposedly you’re here because you have more shared opinions and values with other FReepers, even those on this list who still admire her, love her speeches and appreciate how much she’s done for conservatives. She was absolutely key in getting conservatives elected up and down the ballot in the midterms, campaigning tirelessly. She’s defended conservatives and the Tea Party when no one else would. She says what most of us wish we could say and that other conservatives don’t have the guts to say. But you don’t like her. I’ve read it more than once on this thread. What the heck do you get saying it several times?
