The Conquistadors were the good guys.

Are you nuts? They invaded sovereign nations, they spread their beliefs and their religion at the point of a sword. If they had had the numbers and military power to take on the rest of Europe, they would have wiped out the English and French colonies in North America. I say this as somebody of Spanish descent whose family has been in the Americas for five centuries or so. They were interested in the three G's - Gold, God, and Glory, and not necessarily in that order, and anybody who interfered with that was killed or conquered.

Can you site any evidence for the Conquistadors torturing children, women and the elderly - let alone sacrificing them.
