WHY NOT? It is far far cheaper to teach punks like this a lesson that we will not be used. Let a socialist be elected, it is far better to know the enemy you can see, than someone to say they your friend and act like the enemy. He can rot for all we care.
Shades of gray is the reason we are in the shape we are now, and yes there is right and wrong, black and white, the world just wants to take the path of least resistance and it always leads to doom.
I would rather have 51 reliable conservative senators than 75 Brown/Maine sister types.
At lease with a Democrat you know where you stand, with people like McCain/Brown etc... you never know when you are going to catch that blade between the blades.
I understand where you are coming from. I just don’t see us ever having 51 reliable conservative senators. I hope to be proven wrong.
